Peter Kenneth Frampton (born 22 April 1950) is an English rock
musician, singer, songwriter, producer, guitarist and multi-
instrumentalist. He was previously associated with the bands
Humble Pie and The Herd. Frampton’s international breakthrough
album was his live release, Frampton Comes Alive!. The album sold
more than six million copies in the United States alone and
spawned several hits. Since then he has released several major
albums.[1] He has also worked with David Bowie and both Matt
Cameron and Mike McCready from Pearl Jam, among others. Frampton
is best known for such hits as “Breaking All The Rules”, “Show Me
the Way”, “Baby, I Love Your Way”, “Do You Feel Like We Do”, and
“I’m in You”, which remain staples on classic-rock radio. He has
also appeared as himself in television shows such as The Simpsons
and Family Guy. Frampton is known for his work as a guitar player
and particularly with a Talkbox and his tenor voice.

All American Boy is an album by Rick Derringer, released on Blue
Sky Records in 1973. “Joy Ride” and “Time Warp” (not to be
confused with The Rocky Horror Picture Show song) are
instrumentals.

It seems like Rick Derringer has been on the rock & roll scene
forever — actually, it’s only been since 1965, which makes him
one of the more enduring veterans of his generation. Derringer’s
work with his band the McCoys in his midteens, highlighted by the
bubblegum anthem “Hang On Sloopy,” gave him a claim to low-level
rock & roll immortality, and his subsequent playing with Johnny
and later Edgar) Winter provided him with a degree of credibility
that a lot of guitar players can only envy, especially after the
release of the Edgar Winter live double album Roadwork.

Rick Derringer (born Richard Zehringer, August 5, 1947) is an
American guitarist, vocalist, and entertainer.
Derringer came to prominence in the 1960s as a member of The
McCoys, who had a number one hit single with “Hang on Sloopy.”
Derringer then turned to blues rock, scoring a 1974 hit with “Rock
and Roll, Hoochie Koo”. He has also worked extensively with
brothers Edgar and Johnny Winter, and with the group Steely Dan.

“Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo” is a rock song written by Rick
Derringer.[1] It was first recorded by Johnny Winter with
Derringer in 1970. In 1973, Derringer recorded a solo version and
it became his only Top 40 chart hit, peaking on the Billboard Hot
100 at #23. They both have recorded several live versions of the
song and several other artists have recorded their
interpretations.

Aliens Ate My Buick is the third studio LP release by new
wave/synthpop artist Thomas Dolby. It peaked at #30 in the UK
Albums Chart. The album’s sales were disappointing and reviews
were mixed. The lead single from the album, “Airhead”, peaked at
#53. Second and third singles, “Hot Sauce” and “My Brain Is Like a
Sieve”, peaked at #80 and #89 respectively. In the U.S., the album
peaked at #70.
Dolby has said in interviews that he believes the album’s
commercial failure was due to his change in musical direction,
evident on the album. Expectations of songs in the mould of “She
Blinded Me With Science” and “Hyperactive!” were met only by the
album’s second track, “Airhead”.

Stuck in Wonderamaland is the third album by the alternative rock
group Dramarama, released in April 1989. As of December 2009, this
album is available as a digital download on most sites including
iTunes and Amazon.

Continuing its regret-tinged look at the life of the almost-famous
in L. A., Dramarama on its third album continued polishing its
abilities at both straight-ahead rock and gentler affairs on Stuck
in Wonderamaland. Beginning and, in a brief acoustic reprise,
concluding with the title track, a wistful strum with some prime
feedback burn added in the midsection, the band happily turned
firmly away from the bad-glam-addled idiocies of late-’80s Sunset
Strip sleaze to keep pursuing its own muse.
